On September 9th 2022, Hasanuddin University Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. Jamaluddin Jompa, M.Sc visited the IVF Center on the 6th (Sixth) Floor of Building A Unhas Hospital, also attended by the Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs Prof. Drg. Muhammad Ruslin., M.Kes., Ph.D., Sp.BM(K) who saw the facilities at Unhas Hospital.
Welcomed by the Director of Unhas Hospital Dr. dr. St. Maisuri T. Chalid, Sp.OG(K) and also the Dean of Unhas Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr.dr. Haerani Rasyid, M.Kes., Sp.PD – KGH., Sp.GK with Prof. Dr. dr. Nusratuddin A.Sp.OG (K)., MARS.
Doctor Suri said that one of the Excellent Services of Unhas Hospital which was launched in 2010 was Fertility, Edocrinology and Reproduction, which currently has shown convincing results with a Blastosis Rate of 83% through the MEA Test (Mouse Embryo Assay), which is the first capital to run the IVF program at the Unhas Hospital, concluded Unhas Hospital IVF Center Doctor Team Coordinator Prof. Nusrat.
The Rector was also invited to see the facilities at the Unhas Hospital IVF Center, including the consultation room for obgyn specialists, ultrasound room, private room, preparation room, recovery room, spermatology laboratory, embryology laboratory and also OK installation.
Prof. Nusrat also added that not all teaching hospitals have IVF services with the technology currently available at Unhas Hospital. For that, hopefully with this IVF service, many patients can realize their dream for having a baby.
And in the context of the 66th Anniversary of Hasanuddin University, Unhas Rector, together with Unhas Hospital Director, and Dean of Unhas Faculty of Medicine , have agreed as a form of 66th Anniversary Gift to the public, the price which is estimated at up to eighty million rupiah, in September is estimated to only fifty million rupiah.
